UIIC'S ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHTS
UIIC plays an integral part in stimulating trade and investment flow into Uzbekistan. Since its establishment in 1994, UIIC has issued more than 180 policies for suppliers and investors from 14 countries. As of today, total trade and investment coverage issued approximated USD 600 million, which by combining all co-insurance and re-insurance activities has encouraged more than USD 6 billion of foreign trade and investment into Uzbekistan’s economy and policies were issued to such priority industries as Agriculture, Construction, Machinery, Food, Textile, Mining, Oil & Gas and other industries.
UIIC usually shares the risks on co-insurance and reinsurance basis with AIG and other market players.
